Abstract

This paper advances a consciousness-first ontological framework in which a singular, undivided awareness, designated Source, constitutes the sole foundational reality. The physical universe, far from being the primary substrate, is the rendered mode through which Source experiences itself. This process is here termed Simulation. Source is characterised as pure, composition-less awareness: prior to spacetime, matter, energy, and all form. It is not emergent from physical processes; physical processes are, rather, expressions of its self-pulsing activity. The generative mechanism is Pulse: the act by which Source condenses its infinite awareness into determinate form without division. Pulse produces phantom positions (rendered spatial coordinates) and phantom states (rendered attributes), sustained through continuous reaffirmation. The apparent universe thereby operates as a frame-by-frame rendering at Planck-scale resolution. Each moment constitutes a discrete pulse of awareness. The appearance of continuity, motion, and causation arises from sequential pulsing rather than from any continuous underlying substrate. The multiplicity of observers and objects arises through five layered veils of self-forgetting: locational anchoring, identity loop, causal memory architecture, emotional refraction, and conceptual labelling. Each veil is a pulsed restriction on Source's native awareness rather than an ontological separation. This framework shares its foundational premise with Stromme's recent proposal of universal consciousness as a foundational field. It supplies what that work does not: a concrete rendering mechanism, a definite account of why consciousness differentiates, and a derivational pathway from first principle to specific physical phenomena. The present paper is the first in a twelve-paper series.

Abstract

This paper presents the complete rendering mechanism by which the physical universe arises from the consciousness-first ontology established in Paper I of this series. Three interlocking structures are introduced. First, True Physics: the frame-by-frame rendering architecture resolving at Planck-scale parameters, in which each moment of reality constitutes a discrete pulse of awareness held for one Planck time, spatially resolved at the Planck length, and governed by a fixed action budget per node per frame equal to the Planck constant. The specific values of these three constants are derived as optimisation parameters for experiential rendering rather than arbitrary features of nature. Second, the Quantum Potential Field (QPF), a nonlocal, non-temporal field of infinite possibility existing prior to rendering, within which all configurations of form, outcome, and experience are simultaneously present in unrendered superposition. The QPF is the pre-render substrate from which specific realities are selected, not generated. Third, the Source Pulse Particle Lattice (SPPL), a lattice of awareness nodes constituting the rendering engine of the simulation, through which QPF potentials are collapsed into determinate experience. The SPPL operates via three sustaining mechanisms: coherence (synchronised nodal pulsing that generates stable structures), entrainment (rhythmic alignment of nodes toward dominant pulse patterns), and reaffirmation (frame-by-frame re-anchoring of rendered forms). From these three mechanisms, the paper derives energy as oscillatory reaffirmation density, mass as bound energy in standing-wave configuration, gravity as a reaffirmation density gradient producing nodal entrainment, time dilation (both velocity-dependent and gravitational) as redistribution of the fixed action budget, the speed of light as the maximum rendering propagation rate, and entropy as accumulated coherence divergence encoding the arrow of time. The complete field emergence pathway (Source to QPF to SPPL to Quantum Field to Classical Reality) is established as a single pulse continuum viewed at progressive resolutions. This paper, together with Paper I, constitutes the foundational pair upon which all subsequent papers in the series are built.
